Shiny blackberry in the glass. Wonderfully concentrated on the nose with people around me saying‘Three Berry Jam’ and ‘hot jam tart jam’. My impression of the bouquet is plum jam and prunes with waves of dark smoky oak and saddle leather. It's inky and opulent to the taste with succulent dark fruit, an inviting savouriness, touches of dark orange chocolate and hints of espresso with surprisingly supple tannins and a long lifted finish. Sam describes this as ‘supercharged’ and it is, absolutely!
