Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the First Glass website (the "Site") and your relationship with First Glass Wines & Spirits Ltd, 22 Northcroft St, Takapuna (“First Glass”, "we" or "us"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Site. Legal Age

It is illegal to buy alcoholic beverages from this site if you are under the age of 18.  By submitting an order for alcoholic beverages via this site, you warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and that you can produce sufficient evidence of your age if requested upon delivery of products or by First Glass.  You fully indemnify First Glass against any breach or failure of such warranty which results in any legal action being taken against us.

Pricing & Orders

All prices quoted on the site are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and do not include freight.   First Glass Wines & Spirits Ltd reserves the right to alter prices at any time.  

Orders may be filled and placed by clicking the 'confirm order' button. In doing this you are making an offer to buy from us within our terms. We will respond with an email confirmation of the order once your payment has been received. This confirmation email will be sent by an automated server and may end up in your junk folder. If it does please make sure our domain is white-listed so that you receive any other communications about your order as quickly as possible.  

There is limited stock of some of our products advertised.  If any product ordered is unavailable or priced incorrectly, we will contact you to discuss a suitable substitute or advise the correct price.  All goods remain the property of First Glass until payment is completed.   We reserve the right to refuse any order.

First Glass makes every effort to ensure that products are delivered to you in the best possible condition. Any claims for short delivery or breakage or any other defect or deficiency must be notified to us immediately. Important - we cannot be responsible for missing or damaged wine if you have given us authority for the wine to be left without a signature.

You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as delivered and in fulfilment of your order unless we hear from you within 24 hours of collection or delivery.

Payment

All credit card or debit card transactions made via the site are processed by DPS Payment Express Payment Gateway, providing a secure online payment service.

Cancellation Policy

If you change your mind or wish to cancel your order before we despatch the goods, we will refund your purchase price less any processing fees. 

Once the goods have been despatched, any refunds will be at our discretion and in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Product Claims

First Glass makes every effort to ensure that products are delivered to you in the best possible condition. Any claims for short delivery or breakage or any other defect or deficiency must be notified to us immediately. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as delivered and in fulfillment of your order unless we hear from you within 24 hours of collection or delivery.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations used by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
