Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah 2021

The bouquet of this inky boysenberry red-hued wine is peppery, spicy, savoury, leathery and while it seems quite smooth on entry to the palate the tannins are definitely assertive on the finish. Full-bodied, complex and mouthfilling with peppery spices, camphor, sandalwood and a rich, meaty depth that's lifted by the brightness of concentrated black and purple fruit. The lingering aftertaste is all succulence with red berries, including strawberries adding to the vinous allure.
