Inky blackberry red with a generous bouquet that offers up blackcurrant and cherry pie but it’s initially quite earthy, savoury and meaty in the palate with accents of pepper and spice, plush tannins and creamy oak. Full-bodied and mouthfilling - a beautifully ripe example with bright fruit flavours coming to the fore, well-balanced oak and a lingering savouriness.
