Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Marsanne Viognier 2014

The bouquet of this medium gold-hued wine is a little shy, perhaps a little nutty with the most delicate floral nuance but the full-bodied mouthfilling taste has masses of fruit and textural complexity. There's melon, tropical fruit, hints of ripe apple and a sprinkle of strudel spices with brightness to the long, rounded finish where hints of apricot emerge. A blend of 55% Marsanne and 45% Viognier wild fermented and matured in older oak.
