Te Awanga Estate Syrah 17/18
Bright in the glass with a bouquet of polished oak, leather, red fruit compote, spices and bramble leaf. Firm and dry in the palate with chalky tannins, the crispy edges of roasted meat and plums and red berries brightened by accents of pepper. Medium to full-bodied with a supple feel to the lightly creamy finish where the fragrance of the wine is heightened with a suggestion of rosehips. From the Gimblett Gravels sub-region.
