Inky black red. Inviting bouquet of dark chocolate and concentrated dark fruit. Full of vanillin oak, mocha and nut chocolate flavours with ripe plums and blackberries, beautifully balanced spiciness and an underlying tarry savouriness, this classically styled Shiraz has firm tannins with juicy centres and a long, powerful, delicious mouthfilling finish. Matured in French oak (20% new) for 18 months. Gold NZIWS.
