Mt Monster Shiraz 2019

Inky black red. Spicy oak, cedar, cigar box and pepper on the nose then full and fleshy in the soft, plump palate with mint, chocolate, cedar, blackberry and raspberry fruit and well-balanced underlying savouriness – perhaps even a little tar. Lots of flavour and a juicy quaffer to finish the tasting, it had both French and American oak used sparingly.
