There's brightness to the purple ruby hue, the bouquet is bottled cherries, spice and woodsmoke and the flow across the palate is silky, almost creamy with a youthful tannin edge. A deep savouriness underpins the almost luscious fruit, there’s a suggestion of chocolate and anise and the finish, where oaky nuances emerge, is rounded, satisfying and complete.
