Marc Bredif Vouvray Classic 2019

Made from Chenin Blanc, this is straw gold coloured with a fragrant, floral, subtle ginger/pepper scent and a suggestion of mineral salts. The first taste seems quite dry but there's increasing lusciousness from the baked apple and honey flavours with a touch of apricot and some salty, herbal notes in behind. A varietal heralded for its aging capability, drink now or any time over the next 20 years.
