Lehmann 8 Songs Shiraz 09/14

In stock

This deep dark red-hued wine is the first in the line-up to hint of a mellow character. The bouquet is initially brooding and leathery then becomes elevated with wafts of pepper, spice, vanilla, a hint of cherry and cedar. There’s a lovely savouriness to the taste with cedary oak, plummy fruit, leather, mocha, chicory, pepper and lingering mint chocolate and while the tannins are fine and silky and not overpowering the fruit is still a little brooding so decanting will open it nicely.
