Kumeu River Mates Cardonnay 22/23

Light to moderate gold in hue with a toasty, nutty, mealy aura to the bouquet with a hint of gunsmoke in the distance. The mouthfeel is soft and creamy with toasty lemon-polished oak, a touch of spice, a layer of butterscotch and a long, dry finish where spiced grilled stonefruit lingers delectably.
