Loads of butter and toasty vanillin oak on the nose and butter toffee galore in the palate of this big, bosomy, curvaceous wine with a touch of oiliness to the texture and a rich toasty finish. Powerful yet with soft acidity, it comes more alive with food as the murmurs from the row in front was that it went really well with the cheese.
