Esk Valley Seabed Chardonnay 2021

A wine from the Howard’s vineyard located on the edge of the Ahuriri Estuary at Bay View. The marine properties of this former seabed uplifted by the 1931 Hawkes Bay earthquake shines through in the saline mineral character of the wine. Its also drop dead delcious! Full bodied and creamy textured Chardonnay which displays complex flavours of white peach, grilled nuts and preserved lemon with a long finish. Made with a hands off approach it is a complex and ageworthy wine which showcases the land in which it is grown
