Condado De Haza Tempranillo Crianza 2019

This 100% Tempranillo from Spain’s acclaimed high altitude wine region has an intense black red colour that seduces the eyes. Chocolate berries fill the bouquet and it is juicy and generous in the palate with velvety tannins, a touch of mint, a smoky charcoal-infused savouriness in the background and a bitter nut chocolate allure. There’s also an intriguing spiciness and a liquorice / meaty note to this wine that’s been aged in French and American oak for 15 months.
