Church Rd Grand Reserve Cabernet Merlot 2020

Inky purple red. Liquid black forest chocolate, cedar and dried herbs including a sprig of dried mint fill the bouquet of this 56/44 classic Bordeaux varieties blend. Firm in the palate with fairly grippy tannins underlying sappy cedary oak and fleshy ripe fruit. A rich, intense wine with a dry finish and a chocolatey allure, and while it's still developing the potential is so incredibly there so you would be doing yourself a favour by laying several bottles of this fantastic wine in your cellar and opening one (or two) every couple of years.
