Quarisa Johnny Q Shiraz Viognier 2018

Inky dark red with crimson edges and a fragrance that is quite beguiling, it must be the Viognier component in there that's adding a floral allure to the spicy, creamy oak scent. On first tasting it seems quite biscuity – Shrewsbury biscuits (with the red berry jam filling) come to mind - the texture is velvety smooth and the flavours are just so juicy and succulent with spiced cherries, Black Doris plums, a hint of chocolate and a creamy oak finish with a flourish of spice.
