Lehmann Futures Shiraz 2016

A little brooding on the nose at first, the bouquet emitting a sense of sweet leather with hints of smoky vanillin oak and touches of cherry chocolate. Savoury and spicy in the palate with loads and loads of pepper, sumac and underlying leather with slightly grippy tannins before the succulent plum, mulberry and bramble fruit take over to dissolve the tannins and leave behind a fine, clean, mint-accented finish.
