Sunshine gold. Rich and honeyed on the nose - perhaps even a hint of beeswax. Apricot is the first impression on the palate but it is also surprisingly zesty with a flinty / earthy / spicy undercurrent and an aromatic brightness to the finish, which finishes dry. An exotically fruity pineapple / papaya / lemon / lime note emerges as the flavours linger. A blend of 74% Viognier and 26% Marsanne with 14% of the Viognier fermented in older oak.
