Burn Cottage Moonlight Race Pinot Noir 2015
A youthful ruby purple hue introduces this brooding style of pinot where deep inhaling reveals rosehips and a waft of grapey sweetness. The taste is foremost savoury with moderately firm pinot tannins and a salty note coming through. It’s a delicate, medium-bodied wine with fruit reminiscent of purple grapes and cranberry jelly and a concentrated finish. From a number of vineyard sites, it’s biodynamic and organic with low sulphides and natural fermentation.
